Love, Kipu

Hi Mom and Dad!
I hope you are having a swell time on your vacation. I am having a BLAST with Auntie Kacey. I went to school on Friday and I spent the whole day running around inside and outside, even though it was raining. Auntie Kacey embarrassed me by bringing a towel inside of school to wipe me down. (I don't think she wanted my muddy footprints in her car) I was SO tired after school and all I wanted to do was sleep. Auntie Kacey made me a feast and I slept while she made herself some mac-n-cheese. She wouldn't let me jump up on the stove to see what she was cooking, so she was nice enough to put the oven light on while it was baking so I could watch. After dinner, guess where we went?! TO GRAMMY AND GRAMPYS! It was great! I got to run around and torment my bffl Bayleigh. Auntie Kacey and I slept in her bed, and boy was it comfortable. We slept all night until 7:30 in the morning!

On Saturday AK needed to go to the doctor, and I think that is like the vet, because she came home with medicine, like I do when I go to the vet. Luckily I get to eat my medicine and AK has to have her supposited in her rear end by Grammy. I was very mad at Grampy for putting me in my crate while AK was at the doctors and he was at work, so I let Great-Gramda Foxy know by barking for a long time very loud. Once I realized that barking would not help the situation, I decided to just take a nap. AK woke me up when she got home! We took a 3 hour nap and watched some movies with Bayleigh-- It was the perfect way to spend a rainy day. When bedtime came around on Saturday night, I was not happy. AK was very tired and her tummy hurt, but why should I have to go to bed too? She held me hostage in her room and I whined and cried and bit everything I could until I was ready to go to bed. To show AK how mad I was, I made sure to sleep on top of her head and walk on top of her ENTIRE body to switch positions and my personal favorite: sit my bum right on her face. (AK likes having something covering her eyes when she sleeps, but I guess she doesn't like my bum.)

On Sunday I woke up bright and early around 6:07. I heard Grammy getting ready to go to work, "Shit, I forgot to set my coffee, oh fuckadoodle" and I couldn't bear to let her be alone that early in the morning. So, I let AK know I needed to greet the world as I howled at the door to be released into the wild. We watched the morning news and after Grammy went to work, AK and I watched "Fever Pitch" and "You've Got Mail." I just love Brinkley in YGM. And how about them Sox. AK and Grampy were swearing watching the game, but don't worry Mom and Dad, I know better than to swear Guess what else happened on Sunday?! I tried my first sip of iced coffee. I liked it SO much and got so excited trying it, that I knocked it over onto Grammy and Grampy's couch and all over Grampy's new laptop. AK blow dried it while I was in time out. It worked fine yesterday, but when AK turned it on this morning to check the weather, it made a buzzing sound. She was not very happy and I don't think Grampy will be happy either. No worries guys, I think they still love me and will have me back to play. AK knows she cannot have any more drinks on the end table anymore. We all learned great lessons!

Sunday afternoon when the sun came out AK played in the backyard for over an hour. It was so fun! Bayleigh and I ran and chased each other and ate grass together and explored the enchanted forest. AK painted her nails on the deck. I will not have my nails painted this week because I will be very tempted to eat it and get poisoned. After we played outside, we watched "The Hurt Locker." It was scary and about the war in Iraq. I jumped at the sounds of bombs and gun shots, but no worries guys, I fell asleep. AK and G&G tried to keep me awake and kept telling me to play and woke me up when I was sleeping. I was SO mad. In fact, I was so mad then when AK brought me to bed, I pooped and peed in her room on her carpet even though I went outside TWICE just ten minutes before (and poops and pottied). AK was not happy about that, but thats what she gets. I can poops and potty where ever and whenever I want, so there. I got tired of jumping on and off AK's bed for a half hour, so I just decided to go to sleep. The poops/potty on the carpet was enough damage for one night, so I didn't feel the need to climb on AK while she slept or put my bum in her face, so I just stayed at her feet.

This morning, I woke up and had breakfast. AK brought a lot of stuff to her car, so I think I am going to stay at home the next few nights. WOOHOO! AK wouldn't let me sit on her lap and block her vision while she drives like you guys do, so I had to sit on on the seat next to her. How rude! We got to school and I was greeted by a nice lady who remembered me! She said, "Ohhhh Kipu, how about we work on "sit and stay" today?!" I was too excited to say goodbye to AK, but I did see her skipping as she left the building singing, "Hi ho, Hi ho, its off to work I go." And off to work she went.

Poops and Potties,
Kipu
